THE GAME OF HOPE CLASSIC

The Game of Hope Classic is a charity event put on by the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley to raise money for chronically/terminally ill children for the regional and especially, the Mahoning Valley including Youngstown, Ohio.

The Hope Foundation was founded in 2007 to continue on the tradition established by YSU's chapter of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity with "The Game of Hope Charity Classic" that began in 2004. In addition to taking over this event, the HFMV will host other events that will raise funds for chronically/terminally ill children 365 days a year. In addition to supporting our events, you can donate anytime during the calendar year by going to our website.

Over the years, the Game of Hope Classic has turned into one of the fastest growing charity events in the Mahoning Valley. The Game of Hope committee has done a great job in promoting and showing that the Mahoning Valley does care about it's chronically/terminally children in many different ways.

In the last four years, the foundation and Phi Kappa Tau have donated over $20,000 to charities, courtesy of the charity softball & basketball game ("The Game of Hope Charity Classic & Softball Game of Hope"). The HFMV now hopes to continue the tradition in the coming years.

The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is dedicated to the education, research, and charitable centers across the Mahoning Valley providing services to terminally ill children. The Hope Foundation and its volunteers feel that a child's life should not be wasted, and aim to support local charities who share in our common goal.

IT IS ALL FOR THE KIDS!
