The Softball Game of Hope is in its first year as a charity event put on by the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley to raise money for chronically/terminally ill children for the regional and especially, the Mahoning Valley including Youngstown, Ohio.

The Hope Foundation (more info) was formed to continue the tradition of these proceedings and raise even more money for chronically/terminally ill children 365 days a year. You can donate anytime during the calendar year, as well as during our great events throughout the year!

Over the years, there has been a basketball Game of Hope Classic, which has turned into one of the fastest growing charity events in the Mahoning Valley. In conjunction with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, we have come up with the Softball Game of Hope to be played at Eastwood Field. The Game of Hope committee will take on this responsiblity of promoting and showing that the Mahoning Valley does care about it's chronically/terminally children in many different ways. We hope to continuing support of the Mahoning valley and the supporting businesses.

The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is dedicated to the education, research, and charitable centers across the Mahoning Valley providing services to terminally ill children. The Hope Foundation and its volunteers feel that a child's life should not be wasted, and aim to support local charities who share in our common goal.
